A cold dry March day saw 7 men...
... and 3 dogs...
...set out across the peat bogs of Kinder Scout, the highest moor in Derbyshire.
The route took in two plane crash sites...
... beautiful scenery...
... the remnant of last winter's snow...
... and even a mountain hare, still in its "winter plumage".
